Location was a big plus. Just a short walk to the beach and local dining spots. The swimming pool was great fun, perfect for families. The kitchenette was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. The bed was comfortable, allowing for a restful night's sleep. I did notice a few issues. The cleanliness was below par. the floors needed vacuuming and there were some items left behind from previous guests. Communication could be better too. certain facilities were unavailable during my stay, and I wasn’t informed beforehand. Lastly, with the pool right outside, noise levels were higher than expected, making it difficult to relax on the balcony.

The local eats are a must-try! With gems like Whileaway Bookshop and Cafe just a hop away, you'll be indulging in fresh fare and delish bites. The pools are also quite nice, making it perfect for family fun.

Do watch for their sneaky upcharges for pool towels and in-room safes. It's almost like those shopping trolleys and beach chairs were a happy accident from previous guests. They’re free, though, so that’s a win!

The kitchen sink tap lacked a top!!! Low water pressure was inconvenient!!! Towel hooks fell off frequently, and floors needed a good vacuum!!! Kitchen equipment was minimal and washing machine leaked!!!

Loved my stay at Bay Villas! The two pools were a hit, and the apartment's layout was perfect for my family. It's a short stroll to the beach and shops, though the lighting could use a boost. a great base for exploring Port Douglas!

The atmosphere was so warm and inviting,, like I was hanging out at a friend's place. The staff went above and beyond, helping me out with tips on where to eat and what to see, they even organized my laundry when I spilled some of my dinner on myself.

It wasn't exactly cheap,, but you get what you pay for, I guess.
